Meet Brian Friemel – A Real Estate Technology Guru

MooveGuru is “mooving” forward at a rapid pace. We’ve grown by 800% in the last year and we just signed our 1,000th brokerage partnership. (We don’t like to toot our own horn, but toot toot!)


What’s our recipe for this forward momentum? Yes, our tech rocks and yes the concept is a no-brainer for brokerages and their realtors (not only does it serve their homebuying clients it’s also free). But, those elements are secondary to our primary ingredient of success – OUR PEOPLE!


We’ve introduced to you some of our team members over the past few months. This month though, we’re honored to spotlight one of our founders. That’s right! Ladies and gentlemen, meet our president and co-founder, Brian Friemel!


Currently, he focuses primarily on operational alignment and growth for MooveGuru. Prior to his role at MG, he was the EVP of brokerage services at Lone Wolf RET. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis.


To get to know Brian a bit better, let’s hear from him directly:


Q: What does your day-to-day look like as MoveGuru’s president?


A: As MooveGuru has grown, so has the team. I’m lucky to work with that very strong and talented team every day. While I still get my hands dirty onboarding customers, supporting customers, performing finance tasks, designing technology and developing product, I spend much of my time supporting the team.


My job primarily is to ensure operational alignment and growth for each department. It is a great feeling to help our team succeed. I also feel lucky that I still have the opportunity to be customer-facing. In the end, the agents, brokerages, and their customers are what matters. Staying close to both the team and our customers is imperative and of the utmost importance to me.


Q: What get’s you excited about the work you’re doing?


A: I love that MooveGuru solves a real problem that exists for millions of moving consumers every year. That is that moving is not only a hassle but it’s expensive. MooveGuru’s real estate technology has introduced a full-service method of helping people remove common moving hurdles while saving money.


Also, full-service is a key phrase at MooveGuru. Our customers are full-service real estate agents. They help their customers through the entire buying and/or selling process. MooveGuru’s approach to removing hassle and cost is similarly a full-service approach that helps support the realtor’s full-service customer-service-first mentality.


Q: What are you up to when you’re not leading MooveGuru to its next level of growth?


A: You can find me spending time with my family – my wife, son and daughter! We love to travel. I also enjoy golf and playing guitar with my band (proof below). Please overlook the mustache – we were in a “Dad Band” contest.


Q: Do you have a story about how MooveGuru’s moving concierge service helped a broker, agent and or homeowner/renter?


A: I have many, but one of my favorites was from one of the first brokerages to adopt our Mover Connect concierge product. Debbie called me only a few days after we’d launched. She was ecstatic about the new program.


“Brian,” she said, “Where has this been all my life?! I’ve already recruited an agent and won a customer because of this program!”


We are proud to help participants all along the real estate value chain. Brokerages, agents and consumers all benefit from MooveGuru’s technology. I’m excited to be a part of it.
